Celestial Bloodline

Your bloodline is blessed by a celestial power, either from a celestial ancestor or through divine intervention. Although this power drives you along the path of good, your fate (and alignment) is your own to determine.

Celestial Heritage

When you acquire this bloodline, you gain Planar Bloodline (Celestial) as a bonus feat. If you already possess this feat, your bloodline strength is improved to Intermediate. If you already have an Intermediate Celestial bloodline, you gain no further benefit.

Bloodline Abilities

Your celestial heritage grants you a great many powers, but they come at a price. The lords of the higher planes are watching you and your actions closely.

  • 1st – Heavenly Fire: You can use your eldritch blast to deal sacred damage instead of its normal damage type, but it only harms creatures with an evil alignment. Good creatures struck by this attack are instead healed for an amount equal to damage roll, but an individual creature can only be healed by this ability once per day.
    You may change the damage type as a free action each time you cast eldritch blast, but all rays deal the same type of damage.
  • 2nd – Celestial Resistances: You gain the Energy Resistance (acid) and Energy Resistance (cold) mystic arcanums, even if you already have this mystic arcanum for a different energy type.
  • 3rd – Wings of Heaven: You gain Aerial Wings as a bonus feat, even if you don’t meet the prerequisites. This is a Celestial feat. If you already possess this feat, you gain no further benefit.
  • 4th – Celestial Resistances: You gain another instance of the Energy Resistance (acid) and Energy Resistance (cold) mystic arcanums.
  • 5th – Conviction (Su): You can reroll any one ability check, attack roll, skill check, or saving throw you just made. You must decide to use this ability after the die is rolled, but before the results are revealed by the GM. You must take the second result, even if it is worse. You can use this ability once per day.
  • 6th – Ascension: You become infused with the power of the heavens. You gain immunity to acid and cold. You also gain resistance to electricity 10 and fire 10, and the ability to speak with any creature that has a language (as per the tongues spell).
