Class Features
A Horse Totem Barbarian does not gain the Fast Movement, Uncanny Dodge, Improved Uncanny Dodge, and Trap Sense class features.
Fast Riding
The speed of a mount ridden by a horse totem barbarian becomes faster than the norm for its race by +10 feet. This benefit is lost while the barbarian wears heavy armor or is carrying a heavy load or when the mount is carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the mount’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn.
Mounted Combat
At 2nd level, a horse totem barbarian gains Mounted Combat as a bonus feat, even if he doesn’t meet the prerequisites.
Mount Sense
A 3rd-level horse totem barbarian gains a +2 bonus on Handle Animal checks made with regard to his personal mount. This bonuses increases by +1 every three barbarian levels thereafter (6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th level).
Ride-By Attack
A 5th-level horse totem barbarian gains Ride-By Attack as a bonus feat, even if he doesn’t meet the prerequisites.
Damage Reduction
At 7th level, a barbarian’s mount also gains the benefit of his damage reduction from his barbarian class levels but only when the barbarian is mounted.
Spirited Charge
A 10th-level horse totem barbarian gains Spirited Charge as a bonus feat, even if he doesn’t meet the prerequisites.
