Bombardier

Bombardiers have learned to charge psychokinetic energy into crystalline stones and then hurl them to explode at their opponents.

Class Features

A Bombardier does not gain the Discipline class feature.

Class Skills

You add Engineering and Perception to your list of class skills.

Bonus Feats

You gain Inscribe Esoterica as a bonus feat at 1st level. This replaces the normal 1st-level bonus feat.

Exploding Stone

You can throw a power stone at an enemy as a standard action. Thrown power stones have a 20 ft. range and use the Throw Splash Weapon special attack. On a direct hit, an exploding stone inflicts 1d6 points of damage of your active energy type + additional damage equal to your Intelligence modifier and the effect of the power stone is manifested with the struck creature as the target.

You are capable of empowering mundane crystal to act as an exploding stone in place of using a power stone, in which case the damage is dealt but no additional psionic power affects the struck creature.

The damage of your exploding stone increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered bombardier level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit). Splash damage from your bombardier exploding stone is always equal to the exploding stone’s minimum damage (so if the exploding stone would deal 2d6+4 points of fire damage on a direct hit, its splash damage would be 6 points of fire damage). Those caught in the splash damage can attempt a Reflex save for half damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your bombardier level + your Intelligence modifier.

You can throw exploding stones a number of times each day equal to your class level + your Intelligence modifier.

This replaces your ability to select a discipline.
