When suffering an attack, you stand firmly on the bridge, blocking the flow of energy from one Land to the next.
You can use this technique any time you are targeted by a death effect or the esoteric ability of an undead that requires you to make a saving throw. Make a Theology check and use the result of that check in place of your save. You must use this technique before rolling the saving throw. A natural 1 on this check is not an automatic failure.
