You can initiate this counter in response to an ally (including yourself) within 60 feet rolling a saving throw against a mind-affecting effect. You or your ally gains a +4 morale bonus on that saving throw, and if the save is successful, that ally gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the save DC of that effect for a number of rounds equal to your initiator level.
