With careful effort, you enrich the active reactants within an alchemical concoction and add a little extra to improve its capacity. Most disciples of Mystic Brew use this technique well in advance to better prepare for upcoming conflict.
When you use this boost, you significantly improve the effects of a single alchemical item. Apply the first applicable option from the following list:
- If the item or substance deals damage or provides healing, double the damage or healing.
- If the item or substance doesn’t deal damage, double the duration of its effect.
- If the item or substance doesn’t deal damage and doesn’t have a specific listed duration (or has an instantaneous duration), double all dimensions of its area.
If the item or substance doesn’t fit any of these categories, then it cannot be affected by this technique.
The effects of this boost are permanent until used and stack with other effects that improve an alchemical item.
You can enrich a maximum number of alchemical items with this boost equal to your initiation modifier. You can dismiss this effect on a enriched item as a standard action to enhance a different item. All enriched items immediately loose this effect immediately if you remove this technique from your readied maneuvers.
