You mix an explosive compound with a vial of liquid ice. The resultant explosion leaves behind a frigid chill.

As part of using this technique, you create an unstable alchemical item and throw it as a splash weapon. A direct hit deals 8d6 damage, and any creature within 5 feet takes 8 splash damage. This damage is half fire and half cold.

In addition, the lasting chill causes any creature in the area of the splash to become slowed for 1 round and take an additional 3d6 cold damage at the start of their next turn; a successful Fortitude save (DC 16 + initiation modifier) negates the slowed condition and additional cold damage.
