You rapidly enrich an alchemical item, augmenting its effectiveness, but it must be used immediately.

When you use this technique, you significantly improve the effects of a single alchemical item then immediately attack with it. If the attack is successful, add your initiation modifier to the save DC of the item, if any.

Apply the first applicable option from the following list to the item used with this strike:

  • If the item or substance deals damage or provides healing, double the damage or healing.
  • If the item or substance doesn’t deal damage, double the duration of its effect.
  • If the item or substance doesn’t deal damage and doesn’t have a specific listed duration (or has an instantaneous duration), double all dimensions of its area.

If the item or substance doesn’t fit any of these categories, then it cannot be affected by this technique. The enrichment granted by this strike stacks with other effects that improve an alchemical item.
