No chain can bind you, nor hand control you. You will not be restrained.
You can initiate this counter in response to being grappled, held, swallowed whole, or otherwise restrained by a creature, object, or esoteric effect. This functions as freedom of movement which lasts until the end of your next turn.
In addition, if you are being restrained by a creature or object, you may make a melee attack against the creature or item (manacles, rope, etc.) restraining you as you slip free. You take no penalty on this attack, as you are no longer grappled, pinned, or otherwise restrained. This attack deals an additional 3d6 damage.
You cannot use this counter if you are Helpless.
