As you enter this stance, small runes of black ink appear on the skin around your ears. The rune produce a faint hum which interferes with certain spells.
If you are subjected to a language-dependent spell or effect while you are in this stance, you may make a Linguistics check and use the result of that check in place of the normal saving throw. A natural 1 on the Decipher Script check is not an automatic failure.
In addition, you can make Linguistics checks to activate a spell scroll in place of Arcane Lore, Theology, other other such skill.
