You must be wielding an inert spell scroll to use this maneuver. When you initiate this maneuver, you must sacrifice a prepared spell or spell slot as if the spell had been cast. If the inert scroll you wield has a spell level equal to or lower than the level of the spell you sacrificed, the spell scroll is recharged and ceases to be inert.
