Class Features
An Ascendant does not gain the Form Astral Suit, Astral Repair, Reconfigure, Craftsman, and Master Craftsman class features.
Apotheosis
An ascendant transforms their body along one of the six eternal paths (Energy, Entropy, Incarnation, Time, Thought, or Union). These energies reinforce the ascendant’s form, granting a +1 sacred bonus to natural armor while transformed into an ascendant state. At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th), the sacred bonus to natural armor increases by 1.
The evolving form of the ascendant transforms in a manner similar to customizations. An ascendant can take any customization that follows the theme of their eternal path (GM must approve final selections). An ascendant does not choose a type of astral suit and gains no free customizations.
Because the ascendant is modifying his own body, he can wear armor as normal, even while transformed.
Boundless Potential
The ascendant can take up to their Constitution modifier in customization points as eidolon evolutions instead of aegis customizations.
For purposes of choosing eidolon evolutions, an ascendant must choose an eidolon subtype related to the theme of their eternal path. The aegis gains no effects of the chosen subtype but qualifies for evolutions related to that subtype. For evolutions with requirements or effected related to an eidolon’s base form, the ascendant is treated as having the base form more closely resembling their natural form, usually Biped.
Aware
Beginning at 2nd level, an ascendant gains a +1 bonus to Perception checks. At 6th level and every four levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 1.
Damage Reduction
Because this benefit comes from a transformed state, for the purposes of stacking damage reduction, this counts as a bonus from race.
Rebirth
At 3rd level, when completing a Long Rest, the ascendant can reallocate their Intelligence modifier + 1/4 their ascendant level in customizations. (Eidolon evolutions may be changed as if they were customizations, but eidolon subtype does not change.)
Eternal Form
At 5th level, the ascendant gains a bonus feat appropriate to their theme.
