Class Features

A Node Manifester does not gain the Discipline class feature.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A Node Manifester gains no proficiency with any type of weapon, armor, or shield.

Psionic Node

At 1st level, you select a single psionic node of your choice to specialize in. You gain the node’s granted power and access to the powers granted by that node, much as if the node were your chosen discipline. However, choosing a node also means that you cannot learn powers that are restricted to the six psionic disciplines. You can’t even use such powers by employing psionic items.

Node Abilities

As a mode manifester, you do not have the ability to trade your powers known for discipline abilities; however, you are able to unlock special abilities related to your psionic node. You may trade a power known to gain one of these abilities at each psion level in the same way as a normal psion would gain discipline abilities. However, a node manifester may not select any of these abilities until 2nd level, one level later than normal psions.

2nd-Level Abilities

Psionic Aura (Su)

You learn to form an aura of psionic power that affects those around you. You learn and can project the psionic aura granted by your psionic node with a +1 aura bonus. You can choose to manifest this psionic aura as a swift action.

Your psionic aura can affect all creatures within 30 feet, including yourself. Benefits only affect your allies, including yourself, while penalties instead affect only your enemies. You may define any creature within your aura as an ally, enemy, or neither (making them unaffected by her auras) as you choose.

An aura remains in effect until you dismiss it as a free action or you become unconscious or are slain.

8th-Level Abilities

Access Second Node

You gain access to a second psionic node. You immediately gain its granted ability and may select powers known from those granted by the node. If you have the Psionic Aura node ability, you also gain access to the node’s psionic aura. You may choose to manifest any psionic aura you know as a swift action, but you may only have one psionic aura active at a time.

Psionic Aura +2

Your aura bonus increases to +2. You must have the Psionic Aura node ability to select this node ability.

14th-Level Abilities

Access Third Node

This node ability grants access to one additional psionic node, exactly as Access Second Node (see above).

Psionic Aura +3

Your aura bonus increases to +3. You must have the Psionic Aura and Psionic Aura +2 node abilities to select this node ability.

20th-Level Abilities

Access Fourth Node

This node ability grants access to one additional psionic node, exactly as Access Second Node (see above).

Psionic Aura +4

Your aura bonus increases to +4. You must have the Psionic Aura, Psionic Aura +2, and Psionic Aura +3 node abilities to select this node ability.
