Not every rajah is a fixture of the battlefield, ruling all the light touches by only their own will. At times such individuals are forced to rule as a part of a council, treating parliaments and council chambers as their battlegrounds.

Class Features
A Senator does not gain the Royal Mandate and Regality class features.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
A Senator gains no proficiency with any type of weapon, armor, or shield.
Martial Arts
Maneuvers
As a senator, you recover maneuvers differently than a standard rajah. Your martial arts function as standard for a rajah in all other respects.
Recovering Maneuvers
In order for you to recover maneuvers, you must focus your inspiration on yourself by ending an active bardic performance; if you have no rounds of bardic performance remaining, you can instead take a point of essence burn as a standard action. By doing this, you recover a number of expended maneuvers equal to your rajah initiation modifier (minimum 2).
Alternately, you may concentrate on the akasha that flows through you and recover a single maneuver as a standard action.
Veilweaving
Your veilweaving functions as normal for a rajah with the following changes. In addition to your normal rajah veils, you gain access to the voice chakra veils found on the fisherking veil list (but not any veils for any other chakra slots).
Voice Chakra
A senator gains access to a unique veil slot: the Voice slot. You can weave veils to your voice chakra in the same way you can weave other veils to their respective chakras. When you weave veils as a senator, one of the veils you weave must occupy the voice chakra.
Voice Like Thunder
You possess the ability to deliver speeches and other performances with such passion and conviction that it stirs the hearts of those around you with such potency as to be supernatural. This ability functions like and counts as the bard’s bardic performance ability.
Use your senator class level -4 (minimum 1) as your effective bard level for determining how many rounds per day you can use this ability and for meeting performance prerequisites.
You learn one bardic performance at 1st level. To gain additional performances, you must take the Expanded Performances heraldry (see below) or the Expanded Performances feat
When you end a performance, you can reallocate your essence as a free action.
This replaces Royal Mandate.
Heraldry
As a senator, you gain access to the following heraldry options.
List of Rajah Heraldries
You may select from any of the following options in addition to those normally available to a rajah.
Blessed Land
You gain the Blessed Land ability as if you were a 1st-level Fisherking.
Blessed Land Improvement
You must have the Blessed Land heraldry and be at least 5th level to select this heraldry. You are treated as a 5th-level Fisherking for determining the effects of your Blessed Land heraldry.
You may select this heraldry a second time if you are at least 15th level. Taking this heraldry a second time increases your effective Fisherking level to 13th for determining the effects of your Blessed Land heraldry.
Expanded Performances
You gain one additional bardic performance of your choice. You must meet the prerequisites of this performance.
Thunderous Rhetoric
You gain 3 additional rounds of bardic performance per day.
Regal Voice
At 10th level you gain the ability to bind veils woven in the Voice slot.
In addition, the essence capacity of all of your veils and class feature essence receptacles increases by one. (This does not affect akashic items, feats, maneuvers, or other non-listed receptacles).
This replaces Regality.
