With the ability to create a blade from thin air, soulknives can be extremely effective assassins. Cutthroat soulknives work to be even better at infiltration as well as how to perfectly place strikes against their opponents.

Class Features
A Cutthroat does not gain the Bonus Feat and Psychic Strike class features.
Covert Training
A cutthroat gains 6 + Intelligence modifier skill ranks at each level, instead of the normal 4 + Intelligence modifier skill ranks at each level. Deception is added as a class skill for the cutthroat. This ability replaces the medium armor proficiency and shield proficiency normally gained by soulknives.
Cunning
A cutthroat of 2nd level gains a +1 competence bonus on Deception and Stealth skill checks made while maintaining psionic focus. At 6th level and every four soulknife levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 1 (to a maximum of +5 at 18th level). The cutthroat can expend his psionic focus to double this bonus for a single Deception or Stealth skill check. This ability replaces the bonus feat gained at first level.
Sneak Attack
A cutthroat of 3rd level gains the sneak attack ability as a rogue as long as he is maintaining psionic focus.His damage progression, however, is slower. He gains additional sneak attack damage at the same rate that he would have gained psychic strike damage. If a character already has sneak attack from another class, the extra damage dice stack. This ability replaces psychic strike.
Blade Skills
A cutthroat adds the following blade skills to the lists of abilities he can select when he gains a new blade skill.
Minimum Level: 2nd
Evasion
The cutthroat can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If he makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, he instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the cutthroat is wearing light armor, medium armor, or no armor. A helpless cutthroat does not gain the benefit of evasion.
Rogue Talent
The cutthroat can select a rogue talent from the following list using his soulknife level as his rogue level.
Agonizing Attack, Befuddling Attack, Bleeding Attack, Combat Ruse, Crippling Strike, Fast Stealth, Poison Use, Slow Reactions, Sniper’s Eye, Stealthy Sniper, Superlative Stealth.
The cutthroat can select this blade skill multiple times.
Trapfinder
The soulknife gains the Trapfinding skill specialty using his soulknife level as his rogue level. In addition, the soulknife treats Engineering as a class skill.
Minimum Level: 10th
Improved Evasion
This works like evasion, except that while the cutthroat still takes no damage on a successful Reflex saving throw against attacks, he henceforth takes only half damage on a failed save. A helpless cutthroat does not gain the benefit of improved evasion. A cutthroat must have the Evasion blade skill before selecting this blade skill.
