Some warlocks seek to expand their magical might by forming a pact with a powerful patron. Through sacrificing some of their personal arcane power, a pact-bound warlock gains access to useful spell-like abilities granted by their patron through a spellpact.

Class Skills (2 + Int modifier per level): Arcane Lore, Deception, Insight, Intimidate, Profession, and Theology
Class Features
A Pact-Bound Warlock does not gain the Eldritch Grace class feature.
Invocations
Your invocations function as normal for a warlock, except that your access to invocations other than eldritch blast are delayed by one level.
Your invocations are always one level behind other warlocks. This does not affect your caster level.
Your ability to exchange invocations you know becomes available at 6th level and every even-numbered level thereafter.
Patron
When you reach 2nd level, you must form a pact with a particular patron. Once selected, you may not change your patron. If you violate the terms of this pact, then you lose access to the benefits granted by your patron until you make amends and receive atonement.
Spellpact
At 2nd level, your patron grants you access to one spellpact as if you had sacrificed a 1st-level spell slot. You may select any spellpact offered by your patron and permanently gain access to this spellpact. Once selected, the spellpact cannot be changed or renegotiated.
Once you gain the ability to cast invocations, you gain access to the spellpact’s granted spell-like abilities as if you had sacrificed a spell slot of the highest spell level invocation you know and can cast. This improvement happens automatically and does not require you to renegotiate the spellpact.
Mystic Arcanum
As a pact-bound warlock, you gain access to the following mystic arcanum options in addition to the normal options available to a warlock.
Improved Spellpact
Prerequisite: Ability to cast 2nd-level invocations.
The spell-like abilities granted by your spellpact are improved as if you had sacrificed a spell slot one level higher than the highest level invocation you know and can cast. For example, if a 7th-level warlock selects this invocation, she is treated as if she sacrificed a 3rd-level spell slot when determining the benefits of her spellpacts.
Renegotiate Spellpact
Prerequisite: Ability to cast 2nd-level invocations.
You may renegotiate the spellpact granted by your patron following the normal rules for renegotiating a spellpact. If you possess the Second Spellpact mystic arcanum, you may also renegotiate that spellpact.
Second Spellpact
Prerequisite: Ability to cast 4th-level invocations.
You may select a second spellpact offered by your patron. You permanently gain access to this spellpact and its granted spell-like abilities.
