Half-Giant Paragon

Though naturally tall and powerful, half-giants are more focused on philosophical pursuits and intellectual debate than on physical achievement. The half-giant paragon, however, builds on their natural physique as much as on their scholarly expertise.

Class Features

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A Half-Giant Paragon is proficient with Basic weapons plus any one other weapon group of your choice. They are proficient with light armor but not with shields.

If not using weapon groups, a Half-Giant Paragon is proficient with simple weapons.

Stomp

A half-giant paragon gains one additional use of their stomp psi-like ability for each level he gains in this class. In addition, he adds his class level to the manifester level for his stomp ability, to a max of his Hit Dice.

Spellcasting / Manifesting

At 1st level and again at 3rd, a half-giant paragon progresses either his bard spellcasting or his psychic warrior manifesting. If he possesses levels in both classes, he must choose which class progresses.

If a half-giant paragon has no levels in bard or psychic warrior, this class feature has no effect at 1st or 2nd level. However, at 3rd level, he gains the ability to cast spells as a 1st-level bard.

Prodigious Build

Beginning at 2nd level, a half-giant paragon is considered to be one size larger when determining reach. Normally, this increases their reach by 5 feet as if they were a large creature. The benefits of this ability stack with the effects of abilities, powers, and spells that change the subject’s size category.

Ability Boost

At 3rd level, a half-giant paragon’s Strength score increases by 2 points.
