The ferocity of fallen dragons whose memories have been stored within the akashic record pulse throughout your body, rippling through your flesh and leaving its touch upon your form.
When you weave this veil, it gains the descriptor of your Draconic Element. If you do not possess a draconic element, choose one of the dragons on the given table. The dragon’s associated element becomes your draconic element.

You can use alter self as a spell-like ability with a caster level equal to your veilweaver level, save that you can only take a form resembling a hybrid of yourself and your chosen dragon.
This effect can be used for a total number of rounds per day equal to ½ your veilweaver level + your veilweaving modifier. Ending this transformation is a free action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
The cosmetic appearance of this change is up to you, and can be changed each time you use this ability, but you can still be clearly identified as yourself unless you use the Deception skill to further hide your appearance (you do not gain a bonus to your Disguise check from this effect).
When you use this ability, you gain darkvision 60 feet, low-light vision, and your choice of either two primary claw natural attacks (1d4 damage if you are Small, 1d6 if you are Medium) or a primary bite natural attack (1d6 Small, 1d8 Medium).
If this veil is unraveled or suppressed, its effects end immediately.
Essence
For each point of essence invested in this veil, the natural attacks it grants deal an additional 1 point of energy damage matching your Draconic Element. This damage is multiplied on a critical hit.
For each even point of essence invested, you gain a +1 insight bonus to attack rolls made with these natural attacks.
Chakra Bind (Shoulders)
Binding this veil to your Shoulders chakra further empowers your transformative abilities. When you use this veil’s alter self ability, you gain both the claw and bite natural attacks.
This veil’s alter self ability can now be used for a total number of minutes per day equal to ½ your veilweaver level + your veilweaving modifier and must be used in 1 minute increments.
Chakra Bind (Belt)
Binding this veil to your Belt chakra further empowers your transformative abilities. When you use this veil’s alter self ability, you gain both the claw and bite natural attacks.
This veil’s alter self ability can now be used at will with no maximum limit to its daily usage.
