If your unarmed strike benefits from this veil, you are considered armed while you have this veil woven and do not provoke attacks of opportunity when making unarmed attacks. The additional force damage is nonlethal damage unless you possess the Improved Unarmed Strike feat or a similar ability.

Each point of essence invested in this veil increases the force damage by +2.
Chakra Bind (Hands)
The akashic energy flows up your arm to your elbow, hardening into a steel armguard.
You gain a dastana on your arm, granting you a shield bonus to AC as well as all other benefits and restrictions of wearing a dastana. Your dastana gains an enhancement bonus to AC equal to the amount of essence invested in this veil.
This shield bonus is a force effect and is not ignored by incorporeal creatures.
