This veil takes the form of valuable jewelry, growing more ornate and valuable in appearance the more wealth you store within the veil. It may take the form of a crown, earrings, necklaces, piercings, rings, armlets, bracelets, or other such trinkets, with additional trinkets appearing with added wealth.
The goldhoard vestments imbues you with the power to convert items you can hold directly into wealth. By spending one minute, you can convert any object you are holding directly into an amount of gold worth half of its base price. This gold manifests in the form of gold coins of a variety of sizes and weights minted in an ancient style.
Items worth less than one gold piece cannot be converted, and the item you wish to convert must weigh less than 100 pounds. The item must be completely supported by you to be converted; it cannot be attached to or supported by another object (such as a door, a window, a lock, and so forth).
In addition, this veil functions as a Bag of Holding. The veil itself weighs nothing; however, it can only hold intrinsically valuable items: coins, gems, precious metals, art objects, and other such items that can be easily sold for their full price. The bag can hold 200 lbs. of weight and has a bulk capacity of 1,200.
If this veil is unraveled, all items currently stored within it are instantly ejected into adjacent squares.
Essence
Each point of essence invested in this veil increases the storage capacity by 100 lbs. and 400 bulk.
Chakra Bind (Head)
Binding this veil to your Head chakra expands your senses, allowing you to detect valuable objects nearby and quickly determine their value. You gain the Hoard Sense draconic aura with a range of 30 feet. Your draconic aura bonus is equal to half the amount of invested essence.
Hoard Sense
While this aura is active, you and your allies gain 2 × your aura bonus on Perception checks to make a deliberate search and Profession checks to appraise an item.
You, but not your allies, may also use a spell-like ability similar to detect magic, except that it detects precious metals, coins, and gems within the area of effect of your aura.
