A shimmering array of translucent scales gird your neck and trails down your back and shoulders when this veil is activated. This veil allows you to wield the destructive breath weapon of the chromatic dragons.

When you weave this veil, it gains the descriptor of your Draconic Element. If you do not possess a draconic element, choose an energy type (cold, fire, acid, electricity). This becomes your draconic element.

You gain a breath weapon that deals 1d4 damage of your draonic element’s type (Reflex save for half) in a 15-foot cone or 30-foot line (chosen when the veil is woven).

This breath weapon can be used at will as a standard action.

Essence

For each point of essence invested in this veil, increase the breath weapon’s damage by one step on the following scale: 1d4 > 1d6 > 3d6 > 5d6 > 7d6 > 9d6 > 11d6 > 13d6 > 15d6 > 17d6 > 19d6.

Chakra Bind (Shoulders)

You gain a pair of pearlescent wings which grant you a Fly speed of 20 feet (clumsy maneuverability). For each point of essence invested in this veil, your maneuverability improves by one step (Clumsy > Poor > Average > Good > Perfect).

In addition, you gain the Swiftwing draconic aura with a range of 30 feet. Your effective aura bonus is equal to half the amount of invested essence.

Swiftwing

Your aura grants you and your allies a bonus on Athletics checks and increases climb, fly, glide, and swim speeds by 5 × your aura bonus. (You do not gain these movement types if you do not already have them.)

Chakra Bind (Neck)

Binding this veil to your Neck chakra allows you to take full advantage of your borrowed draconic might. While this veil is bound to your Neck chakra the individual damage die for your breath weapon increase by one step (d4s become d6s, d6s become d8s).

In addition, you gain the Breath Guard draconic aura with a range of 30 feet. Your draconic element is the as the energy type chosen for this veil, and your effective aura bonus is equal to half the amount of invested essence.

Breath Guard

Allies within your aura are immune to damage from your breath weapon. Additionally, you and your allies gain energy resistance to your draconic element equal to 5 × your aura bonus.
