The ink lifts from a spell scroll and contorts into a rune that flies towards an opponent, dazing them.
As part of this maneuver, you make a ranged touch attack against your opponent while wielding a spell scroll. This attack causes the target to become dazed for a number of rounds equal to one-half the level of the spell stored on the scroll (minimum 1). Make a Linguistics check to determine the DC of the Fortitude save to negate the dazing effect.
At the end of each of your opponent’s turns, he may make another Fortitude save to attempt to negate the daze. Because this is made at the end of his turn, he may take no other actions during his turn even on a successful save.
This technique ends immediately if the target negates the daze.
The spell scroll used to initiate this maneuver becomes inert, even if the attack misses.
