Reaver

Where most warlocks hurl blasts of power from afar, reavers prefer to charge headlong into battle. They shape their eldritch energies into a weapon of pure destruction, cleaving through foes with devastating power.

Class Features

A Reaver does not gain the Eldritch Grace and Soulburn class features.

Invocations

At 1st level, you learn eldritch blade as a bonus invocation known. You do not learn eldritch blast (though you may still choose to learn it later as normal when learning a new invocation).

Your invocations ability is otherwise unchanged.

Eldritch Guard

At 2nd level, when you cast your eldritch blade, you also create a shield of eldritch energy which guards you in battle. This functions as the shield spell, except that its duration is equal to that of your eldritch blade, and the effect ends immediately if your eldritch blade is dismissed or dispelled.

This replaces your Eldritch Grace class feature.

Imbue Weapon

When you reach 5th level and every three levels thereafter, you gain Imbue Weapon as a bonus mystic arcanum known. If you have already gained Imbue Weapon the maximum number of times, you gain no further instances of it from this ability.

In addition, each time you cast eldritch blade, you can take any amount of Constitution burn as a free action to change your chosen weapon special abilities. Each point of Constitution burn that you choose to take allows you to change +1 weapon bonus worth of special abilities. You can only change the weapon special abilities once each time you cast eldritch blade.

This replaces your Soulburn class feature.
