Faithful

Among worshipers of the divine are those who exhibit true faith, those whose faith goes above and beyond what even most clerics and priests possess. Their faith is unwavering and unshakable, even in the hardest times, and they are greatly rewarded for it.

These faithful may be from any background, but most belong to some sort of religious organization and often are prominent members of the clergy or lay leadership.

Class Features

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A Faithful gains no proficiency with any type of weapon, armor, or shield.

Cup Overflowing

Beginning at 1st level, you gain 1 additional faith point each time you gain 1 or more faith points (including when gaining a Faith Feat).

If there is a maximum number of faith feats you can possess (such as if you are a member of the Rhai’Selog race), then you increase that maximum by 1 for every level of faithful you gain. For example, a Rhai’Selog with 6 Hit Dice can normally possess a maximum of 6 faith points at a time. However, a Rhai’Selog cleric 4/faithful 2 could possess up to 8 faith points.

Shield of Faith

Starting at 1st level, you can expend a faith point to cast shield of faith on yourself as a spell-like ability. Your caster level for this ability is equal to your Hit Dice.

Bonus Faith Feat

At 2nd level and again at 3rd level, you gain a Faith Feat of your choice as a bonus feat. You must meet the prerequisites for the chosen feat.

Indomitable Faith

When you reach 2nd level, you faith has become so strong that you no longer fear those who stand against you, confident that your faith will see you through. You become immune to fear.

Empowering Faith

Starting at 3rd level, whenever you activate a feat or ability that allows you to spend multiple faith points for a stronger effect, treat it as if you spent one more faith point.

For example, the Faithful Healing feat heals a target for 1d8 hit points per faith point spent. With this ability, spending 2 faith points would heal a target for 3d8 hit points as if you had spent 3 faith points.
