Benefit
When you gain psionic focus, choose one aspect of your alignment (good, evil, chaotic, or lawful). As long as you maintain psionic focus, your melee and ranged weapon attacks are treated as that alignment for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction. You may only choose one aspect of your alignment, even if you can maintain more than one psionic focus.
You may expend your psionic focus before making an attack to deal an extra 1d6 points of damage, and your attack is still treated as the chosen alignment for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. You must decide whether or not to use this feat prior to making an attack. If your attack misses, you still expend your psionic focus.
