You direct your ki flow to reflect your alignment, piercing your opponent's defenses.
Prerequisites
Base attack bonus +4 (or Ki Strikes class feature), ki cultivation ability.
Benefit
When you make a melee attack, you may spend 1 ki point as a free action to give the attack the chaotic, evil, good, or lawful descriptor, which must match part of your alignment. This attack deals an additional 1d6 damage to creatures of the opposite alignment.
This is considered a non-elemental ki strike.
Advanced Ki Attacks
With improved ki training, you can spend additional ki to improve the effect of this feat. Each point of ki spent causes the attack to deal 1d6 additional damage to creatures of the opposite alignment.
- Adept Ki Attacks: You can spend up to 2 ki on this attack.
- Master Ki Attacks: You can spend up to 3 ki points.
- Grandmaster Ki Attacks: You can spend up to 4 ki points.
Special
A monk with this feat can apply it to the Water Splitting Stone ki strike, changing the Lawful component of the strike to the chosen alignment. However, this feat does not add any additional damage to that ki strike.
