Flowing Blade

[Ki, Multiclass, Psionic]

You wield your mind blade with the grace and power of your monastic training.

Prerequisites

Ability to generate a mind blade, Weapon Focus (mind blade), ki circulation class feature.

Benefit

You can treat your mind blade as a special monk weapon that deals damage equal to that of your unarmed strike, and your mind blade always has the Ki Focus weapon special ability with a +0 cost. Your soulknife and monk levels stack to determine the weapon bonus of your mind blade.

Forming a mind blade and charging a psychic strike no longer disrupt ki formations.

You can multiclass freely between the monk and soulknife classes. You must still maintain your alignment requirements to progress as a monk.

In addition, you gain access to the following Ki Strike:

Flowing Strike [none]

You use ki to strike your opponent with the destructive psychic energy.

By spending 1 ki, your attack deals 1d8 additional psychic strike damage. This attack counts as a psychic strike and does not stack with psychic strike damage.

Adept Flowing Strike

By spending 2 ki, your attack deals 2d8 additional psychic strike damage.

Master Flowing Strike

By spending 3 ki, your attack deals 3d8 additional psychic strike damage.

Grandmaster Flowing Strike

By spending 4 ki, your attack deals 4d8 additional psychic strike damage.

Normal

Without this feat, forming a mind blade and charging a psychic strike are considered an esoteric effects which disrupt ki formations.
