Physical Deformity

[Aberrant]

Your body is warped, causing you to suffer but also granting you unusual abilities.

Prerequisites

Benefit

Choose one of the following deformities when you gain this feat. You suffer the drawback of the chosen deformity but also gain its associated benefit.

Emaciated

You are disturbingly thin, appearing almost skeletal, giving you a sickly and disgusting appearance.

You gain a +2 mutation bonus to Dexterity but suffer a -2 mutation penalty to Constitution. Your weight is divided by half. You gain a mutation bonus to Acrobatics checks made to squeeze or escape equal to the number of Aberrant Feats you possess.

You cannot gain the Obese deformity.

Eyes

Your eyes are disturbingly twisted, or beady, or bug-like. Or perhaps you’ve grown a third eye.

You suffer a -2 penalty to Perception checks; however you gain the ability to use see invisibility as a spell-like ability with a duration of 1 minute. You gain 1 use of this ability per day for every two Aberrant Feats you possess.

Face

Your countenance is horrifically scared, twisted, and deformed, instilling fear in those near you.

You suffer a penalty to Persuasion checks equal to the number of Aberrant Feats you possess; however, you gain frightful presence that affects any creature within 10 feet of you each time you attack. The Will save is DC 10 + the number of Aberrant Feats you possess + your Cha modifier. A successful save makes a target immune to this ability for 24 hours.

Hands

Your fingers twist, exposing jagged bone or sharpened nails.

You gain the Claws mutation, dealing damage as if you were one size category larger. This does not cost any Mutation Points; however, you suffer a -2 mutation penalty to all Dexterity-based checks that rely on using your hands.

Obese

Your impressive corpulence is as disgusting as it is overwhelming, shaking the ground as you move.

You gain a +2 mutation bonus to Constitution but suffer a -2 mutation penalty to Dexterity. Your weight is tripled. You gain a mutation bonus to saves against disease and poison equal to the number of Aberrant Feats you possess.

You cannot gain the Emaciated deformity.

Short

Your body is short and malformed, appearing either squashed or hunched over and bowed.

Your height shrinks to the minimum for your race, but your size category does not change. Your movement speed decreases by 5 feet; however, you gain a +2 mutation bonus to Stealth checks.

You cannot gain the Tall deformity.

Tall

Your body appears stretched beyond what should be physically possible, with long, skinny limbs.

Your height increases to the maximum for your race, but your size category does not change. You suffer a -1 mutation penalty to AC and a -2 mutation penalty to Stealth checks; however, you gain an additional 5 feet of reach (this does not stack with the benefit of the Ductile Limbs feat).

You cannot gain the Short deformity.

Teeth

Whether you grow jagged fangs or simply file down your teeth, your smile is horrific to behold.

You gain the Fangs mutation. This does not cost any Mutation Points.

Special

You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time, you must select a different deformity.
