Striking Mirage

[Veilweaving]

You form your essence into the simile of a soldier, which rushes forth to deliver a powerful blow.

Prerequisites

Vassalage class feature.

Benefit

As a move action, you may create an akashic soldier in your space or in the space of one of your vassals currently within your demesne. This soldier functions as a servant created by the house of servants class feature, except that it appears to be geared for war.

Your akashic soldier counts as one of your vassals, allowing you to initiate maneuvers through this soldier using your vassalage class feature. You use your own size category, reach, and other characteristics when resolving the maneuver, as normal.

When created, the soldier may immediately move up to your movement speed using any movement mode you have available to you. An akashic soldier gains only a single move action and cannot take standard, swift, or immediate actions. It cannot make attacks or take actions other than movement, but it is considered to be threatening the squares adjacent to itself for the purposes of granting flanking bonuses and for initiating counters through your vassalage class feature.

This akashic soldier lasts until the end of your turn, but it winks out of existence instantly if it leaves your demesne. It is also destroyed if it takes damage in a single round greater than your veilweaver level + your veilweaving modifier.
