Benefit
When taking on the appearance of another creature, you may choose to count as a member of that creature’s race (including the creature’s type and subtypes) if it would be advantageous to you when resolving the effects of spells and abilities and when attempting activate magic items. You do not gain any traits of the type or subtypes of that creature.
