Stunning Fist

You know just where to strike to temporarily stun a foe.

Prerequisites

Dexterity 13, Wisdom 13, Improved Unarmed Strike, cultivator level 3rd.

Benefit

By spending 2 ki points, your attack can stun an enemy. When you make a successful unarmed attack using this ki strike, you deal damage normally and also force the target struck to make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + ½ your cultivator level + your key ability modifier). On a failed save, the target is stunned for 1 round, until just before your next action. (A stunned creature drops everything held, can’t take actions, takes a -2 penalty to AC, and is flat-footed.)

You may use this ki strike no more than once per round. This is considered a non-elemental ki strike.

Advanced Ki Attacks

With improved ki training, you can spend additional ki to improve the effect of this feat.

  • Adept Ki Attacks: If you spend 3 ki on this attack, the save DC increases by +1.
  • Master Ki Attacks: When you master this ki strike, you may make up to two stunning fist ki strikes per round. Each strike must be paid for separately.
  • Grandmaster Ki Attacks: By spending 4 ki, the save DC instead increases by +2.
