Benefit
Your ranged attacks ignore the AC bonus granted to targets by anything less than total cover, and the miss chance granted to targets by anything less than total concealment. Total cover and total concealment provide their normal benefits against your ranged attacks.
In addition, your precision range is equal to the longer of your current precision range or the first full range increment of your weapon. For example, a throwing axe using this feat would have a precision range of 50 feet (the normal 30 feet + 20 feet from Improved Precise Shot) while a longbow would have a precision range of 100 feet (the range increment of the longbow). Feats and abilities that increase a weapon’s range increment also increase its precision range.
