Rapid Reload

Prerequisites

Proficiency with at least one type of crossbow.

Benefit

The time required for you to reload crossbows is reduced to a free action (for a hand or light crossbow) or a move action (for a heavy crossbow). You can load a new case of 5 bolts in a repeating crossbow (light or heavy) as a standard action. Reloading a crossbow still provokes an attack of opportunity.

You may fire crossbows you can reload as a free action as many times in a full attack action as you could attack if you were using a bow.

This feat applies to all crossbows you are proficient with. You may not use this feat to reload a crossbow if you are not proficient with that type of crossbow.
