Martial Power

You are able to instinctively call upon reserves of untapped power from deep within to defend yourself.

Prerequisites

Constitution 13, knowledge of at least one martial arts technique.

Benefit

On your action, before making attack rolls and combat maneuver checks for a round, you may choose to subtract a number from all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to 2 × the penalty. This number may not exceed your initiator level. The penalty on melee attacks and combat maneuver checks and the temporary hit points gained last until the start of your next turn.

Special

Martial Power can be used in place of Combat Expertise to qualify for a feat, prestige class, or other special ability. You can take both this feat and Combat Expertise.
