Potent Bloodline

Any one of the following feats: Draconic Bloodline, Elemental Bloodline, Fey Bloodline, Genie Bloodline, Giant Bloodline, Monstrous Bloodline, or Planar Bloodline.

You immediately gain one bonus bloodline level for your ancestral bloodline.

This bonus level does not count against the normal progression limits of your bloodline and may allow you to exceed the maximum bloodline level granted by its strength. However, this feat cannot increase your bloodline level beyond the absolute maximum level offered by the ancestral bloodline’s source.

For example, the Silver Dragon bloodline offers up to 20 bloodline levels, as it includes Minor, Intermediate, and Major progressions. The Fire Giant bloodline, which does not offer a Major progression, has a maximum bloodline level of only 10. The Doppelganger bloodline has a maximum of 5 bloodline levels, as it offers only a Minor progression. This feat cannot increase your bloodline level beyond those hard limits; however, a character with a Minor Silver Dragon bloodline (normally capped at bloodline level 5) could use this feat to increase their bloodline level up to 6.

The bonus bloodline level granted by this feat does not count against the number of bloodline levels you may acquire through normal advancement, nor does it increase the experience cost of future bloodline levels.

For example, if a character with a Minor bloodline who has reached bloodline level 3 gains this feat, their bloodline level would immediately increase to 4. He my still purchase 2 additional bloodline levels as normal and does not count the bonus level with calculating the experience point cost.

If you possess more than one ancestral bloodline, you must choose which one gains the benefits this feat. This choice cannot be changed.

When you gain this feat, it counts as a Celestial, Djinnblood, Draconic, Elemental, Fey, Fiendish, Gigantic, or Monstrous Blood feat based on which ancestral bloodline gains its benefit. This feat gains only one of these feat type.
